Cross Border Startups at Go Global Hub: Sponsoring Global Entrepreneurship

Turning Vision Into Action

On Monday, 27 October 2025, we at The Delphi Network were proud to sponsor the second session of the Go Global Hub’s Cross Border Startup Match Salon organized by Startup Lady Association in Shibuya, Tokyo. It was an evening where global entrepreneurship became tangible through thoughtful programming and genuine interaction.

We were glad to see Startup Lady’s hard work pay off, creating a platform for women founders, international entrepreneurs, and Japanese startup teams to meet, connect, and build. Their bilingual, inclusive approach opened new doors for meaningful collaboration across cultures.

Platform Activated: The Event Framework

Held at the Playground venue inside Plug and Play Japan and supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Go Global Hub attracted a focused group of about fifty participants. The limited capacity encouraged real conversation and lasting engagement.

The schedule was tightly structured. Doors opened at 18:00, followed by a keynote, a panel discussion, and a series of mini pitches. English and Japanese alternated throughout the program, ensuring that the event embodied the essence of cross border startups by including all participants equally.

Attendees included entrepreneurs, venture supporters, corporate innovators, and ecosystem leaders. Each person contributed to an atmosphere that balanced ambition with openness.

From Pitch to Partnership: Event Highlights

Panel speakers discuss managing teams across borders at Startup Lady’s Go Global Hub event in Tokyo, highlighting leadership in cross border startups and global entrepreneurship.

Panelists at Startup Lady’s Go Global Hub share insights on managing teams across borders and building sustainable collaboration within Japan’s global entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Keynote speaker Oya Koc, Founder and CEO of Oyraa Inc., set the tone for the evening with a story that blended technology, language, and courage. Her journey from Turkey to Japan and her creation of an AI-driven interpretation platform reflected the spirit of global entrepreneurship that defined the event.

Panelists Taylor Matthews and Natsuko Mitsugi continued that momentum by exploring how companies can expand internationally while staying true to their core mission. They spoke about team trust, cultural intelligence, and long-term strategy as the real foundations of successful collaboration.

When the mini pitches began, the atmosphere changed from reflective to electric. Founders grouped into small teams and presented ideas centered on social impact and shared challenges. The bilingual format allowed everyone to contribute, and the feedback from the audience was immediate and insightful.

The networking session that followed allowed conversations to evolve naturally. Over light food and drinks, participants shared experiences, exchanged contacts, and discussed ways to keep building after the event. Connections formed in that space will likely become the foundation for future ventures.

Sponsoring Innovation: Why We Back This Series

Startup Lady’s Go Global Hub recognized its partners, including The Delphi Network, for their support in fostering collaboration and advancing cross border startups in Tokyo’s global entrepreneurship community.

At The Delphi Network, we believe that leadership and innovation are born from dialogue. Our sponsorship of the Go Global Hub reflects this philosophy. Startup Lady’s work (Moeko Suzuki, Heather Dobbin, et al) demonstrates how structured events can turn conversation into collaboration, and collaboration into opportunity.

Supporting this series allows us to reinforce our shared mission: to strengthen Japan’s position as a hub for international business and entrepreneurial growth. We were especially encouraged to see women founders and multicultural teams driving the discussion around the future of cross border startups.

For our community of executives, country managers, and business intelligence officers, the event highlighted how global entrepreneurship can thrive when networks are intentional and values-driven.

Leading Forward: Join the Network

We congratulate Startup Lady Association for creating a forum that delivered on both substance and spirit. Go Global Hub succeeded in transforming potential into performance by connecting entrepreneurs who understand that progress depends on people and purpose working together.

If you are a founder seeking to grow internationally, a leader searching for strategic insight, or a professional who values intelligent connection, this is the type of environment that will move you forward.

The Delphi Network will continue to support initiatives like this because the future of business is built on collaboration, trust, and shared ambition.
